Pandemic Blues

So it's been one year since we've been locked down. Idiots are still denying that the pandemic is a thing, and that there is nothing to worry about. People who have no medial knowledge relying on information they got from people with no medical knowledge. I don't know about you, but I'm more inclided to trust people that have a medical degree(I know that some people who have medical degree are also idiots, like those that say this virus is grown in a lab that escaped) but hey, we can't all be smrt, and not all degrees are created equal. Please stay at home, wear a mask, and wash your hands. Also, get vaccinated. It will take everyone's best effort to get through this. -Mike

Back from the dead

Wow, how long since I wrote here, 7 years? Does anyone read this? Did anyone ever read this? Well, I have some interesting news in my life, now engaged, planning a wedding, which is interesting in a middle of a pandemic. I'll try to post at least somewhat often, but then again, I probably promised that several times in the past.

End of summer, beginning of fall

I don't write like I used to. I haven't had the urge or the need. Not so much writer's block but a lack of will. There has been nothing inspiring to write about. I'm turning 29 in a couple of weeks, turning 30 next year. because of this I have the urge to travel. To go somewhere off the beaten track. Well, maybe not off the beaten track, but not something so basic and simple. I've done normal package vacations before, done my partying, drinking, and general misbehaving till the wee hours of the night. I would rather try something exciting. Go zip lining in the forests of Costa Rica, perhaps even hike the Camino de Santiago. To do all these things simply because I can. perhaps I can do these things soon.
